Car Wash Simulator Updates Hub
Track Early Access milestones, roadmap goals, and what to re-verify after each patch.
What this hub tracks
Car Wash Simulator is a solo-developed Steam sim from Majestic Twelve with publishers Wildlands Interactive and New Disorder. Early Access is scheduled for August 10, 2026. A free demo can be downloaded from Steam beforehand. This Updates hub explains how to follow changes without treating every rumor as a patch note—and which wiki pages to revisit when systems move.
For the calendar deep dive, open Release Date. For PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series plans (later, no firm dates), open Console. For Early Access versus full-version feature direction, open Roadmap. The game is single-player; PC Steam leads.
Confirmed milestone: Early Access August 10, 2026
At Early Access start, developer letters describe:
- Two districts: Rent Hike Ridge and Havenwood
- Ten car washes and six cars
- Full core cleaning loop (trash, exterior, undercarriage, heavy dirt, windows, rims, mats, interiors, tire blackening, facility care)
- Tutorial plus timed jobs
- Respect/XP wash upgrades
- Random event cards and day/night cycle
- Online Store deliveries and driveable cleaned cars
- Side activities such as trash-throw and shopping-cart mini-games
- A single save profile at EA start
Read district and property details on the Map Hub, Properties, Rent Hike Ridge, and Havenwood. Compare demo scope with EA on Demo vs Early Access.
Roadmap direction (not day-one promises)
For the fuller product, the developer hopes to roughly double the world (about four districts, twenty washes), add more cars, open three save profiles, and expand systems such as buying/furnishing washes, plant growing depth, leaderboards/ranking, larger multi-stage jobs, more mini-games, shady deals depth, and advanced detailing (waxing, hydrophobic coating, scratch removal, ozone treatment, deeper mat care). These are priorities shaped by feedback—not fixed store checklist items. When something lands, we will reflect it here, on Release Date/Console leaves, and in linked guides.
Demo lineage
Press coverage notes a Steam demo featuring washing, facility upgrades, reputation decisions, and a slice of progression. Use the Demo Guide for how to practice and System Requirements if you are hardware-checking. Demo patches can differ from Early Access patches; always check the Steam news tab for the product you actually own.

New players still start at Getting Started even after patches—onboarding changes are rare but costly when missed.
How Early Access length is described
The developer expects Early Access to last a few months, with community bug reports and Steam Discussions as primary feedback channels. Price is not currently planned to change when leaving Early Access; if that shifts, official Steam posts would be the authority. Bookmark Official Links.
Wiki maintenance habits
This fan wiki will not invent patch dates. When you see a Steam news post:
- Note the build focus (tools, map, economy, bugfix)
- Update your personal tier assumptions
- Re-run a short tutorial-like car to feel timing changes
- Skim the Review only for tone—patch-by-patch scoreboard chasing is optional
Browse the Guides Hub and Tools Hub for deep dives once you know what changed.
Pre-EA watch list (before August 10, 2026)
- Steam news for branch builds or demo hotfixes
- Discussion pins from the solo developer
- Store page feature list deltas (foams, washers, districts)
- Hardware notes if minimum specs revise
- Wishlist reminders and demo replay nights
Post-EA watch list
- First-week crash/performance hotfixes
- Timer or tip curve adjustments
- Property pricing and collection tweaks
- Event card balance
- Mini-game additions
- Any plantation/package rebalances
- Console announcement posts (no invented dates)
Reminder on wording
Until Early Access unlocks, speak of the full game as scheduled. The demo is a free Steam download; that does not mean the complete EA build is already in players’ libraries as a finished 1.0. After August 10, 2026, treat Steam’s own “Early Access” label as the status source of truth.
Stay patch-literate, keep washing, and let official notes—not rumor mills—drive your next upgrade.
